The programme is competency-based, which means you are assessed on what you can do. We focus on outcomes, and ensure that you can create results (not just theorise about them).

This programme is ideal for individuals who have been working for some time in the engineering industry but not had the opportunity to complete or obtain a formal qualification. Through an APEL framework and top up mechanisms, we can provide top ups and upgrades to knowledge sets and ensure that learning outcomes are achieved. This programme is NOT ideal or suitable for candidates who are fresh out of high school.
The Warnborough College Bachelor of Science in Engineering programme requires the completion of 240 ECTS credits. The BSc has three key structural elements:

  • Successive build up – from foundation studies to specialisation to qualification
  • Intertwining theory and practice-based experiences while developing aspects of practice-based research.
  • Combining academic education with personal and professional development.

This program is offered via our Competency and APEL framework only. You will be working with your own APL Tutor or Supervisor to create a portfolio of your competencies that can map across all the necessary learning outcomes of this programme.

Where necessary and/or appropriate, you may be required to do some top-up modules or attend various courses in order to fulfil the 240 ECTS credit requirement. Upon satisfactory completion of all requirements, students will receive the Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree. There are no other exit points in the program.
