Warnborough principals Dr Brenden Tempest-Mogg and Dr Julian Ng were in Guadalajara in November to meet with our newest partner, Universidad Superior de Guadalajara (USG) and sign a partnership agreement for dual degrees.
They were met and hosted by three of USG’s Directors, the Vice-Rectors of Virtual Technologies (Sr Francisco Castañeda), Administration and Finances (Sr Álvaro Ibarra) and Partnerships and the Community (Sra. Ana Rosa Ledezma). The partnership kicks off with dual degree agreements for the 2 new doctorate programmes in educational leadership, joint research, faculty and student mobilities, and a joint annual conference.
We are delighted to announce the 2 new doctoral programs that lead to dual degree awards from both Warnborough College Ireland and Universidad Superior de Guadalajara with intake dates from March 1, 2025.
Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Higher Educational Leadership
A projects-based research-led program that encourages candidates to use industry know-how to create discrete learning outcomes specifically for higher education.
Doctor of Education (EdD) in Educational Leadership
A professional doctorate that is modular and leads to hands-on learning and the application of knowledge, ensuring that candidates can lead educational institutions and their teams successfully at any level.
These two Warnborough programs correspond with USG’s two programs, with intake dates starting from December 2024:
Doctorado en Enseñanza y Aprendizaje en la Educación Superior
El Doctorado en Enseñanza y Aprendizaje en la Educación Superior tiene como objetivo fundamental la formación de investigadores en el área de la docencia en educación superior y el desarrollo de competencias para ejercer una docencia de excelencia.
Doctorado en Educación y Liderazgo
El Programa de Doctorado en Educación y Liderazgo tiene como objetivo la formación de investigadores en el ámbito de la educación y el liderazgo educativo.
Warnborough is grateful for the wonderful hospitality shown by the USG team, and would like to thank our Council member, Dr Tulio Barrios Bulling, for organising this new partnership.
